Gamatek is an environmental testing firm that offers stack testing, industrial hygiene and indoor air quality tests, ambient air analysis and gas flow and volume gauge calibrations. It is accredited by EMA (mexican accreditation organization) as an Environmental Testing Laboratory and as a Calibration Laboratory.

The stack testing department, Gamatek performs most USEPA NSPS Reference Methods including 23 and 29, CARB 501 (Cascade Impactor), SIP Method 202, ASTM D-6348-03 (Extractive FTIR) and Mexican Methods NMX and NOM. Its hygiene testing department, includes most of NIOSH and OSHA Methods, and Mexican Methods NOM. For Ambient Air analysis, PM, Pb and Noise emissions are performed by 40CFR50 and Mexican Methods NOM. Calibration includes dry gas meter, orifice plate meters and other gas flow or volume gauges.

Founded in 1993, Gamatek has becomed a leading firm in Mexico for Environmental and Calibration tests. Based in the city of Monterrey, in the north-east state of Nuevo Leon, Gamatek, can provide testing throughout Mexico, Central and South America with its 55 full-time experienced employees. Gamatek does not utilize contract personnel to perform any analytical or testing function.

Some Gamatek’s employees are active members of the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the Source Evaluation Society (SES). One employee has become a Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI) for Groups I, II and III Methods (Basic Knowledge and Manual Particulate Sampling, Manual Gas Sampling, and Instrumental Methods respectively) by this Organization. Another employee is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).
